An illustration I did of this image! i can't find the artist/designer/photographer... if anyone knows can you tell me?

This illustration is part of a set done for a friend of mine (the other two in the set are seen below "Red + Yellow"!

Here I will show you my process for creating the last fashion illustration "Bird of Paradise".

(sorry for the horrible photos :P)

I try to use the best paper I can, so that the originals stay in good condition forever...

This is my tiny travel paint set.. which I have had forever... I love it!

(and no it's not messy, I reuse all those colors I mix!)

I start by drawing my illustration in pencil...

Then I paint it...

Then I add black ink over the paint to bring out the details...

Then I added the pattern with pencil + marker... and that's it, it's finished... :)

Happy Easter! This morning I went to brunch at a little restaurant in Boston called Masa. It was yummy!! I wish it were warmer out... but soon enough!

For a good part of my life, I was completely obsessed with buttons. I know this isn't a fashion illustration, but I haven't had a chance to do new work :). So instead, I am sharing with you an old piece I did (freshman year in college) about buttons. Keep in mind I was a design major, and.. well this is really more of an illustration. No wonder I never liked industrial design... I was meant to illustrate! Yes, it was never finished either :).

This is my friend Vinny! He requested an illustration, and this is what came out :). Vinny and I went to college together, and he now lives in Brooklyn and runs his own bag company- Skinny Vinny! You guys should check out his work... he makes some pretty cool and functional bags!
